Taylor's soccer tounament

Taylor's team did a wonderful job at the tournament yesterday. They tied the first game, 2-2, the second game was a huge win, 8-1, and the last one was another win 5-0! It was a very windy day and we had to make adjustments to our wardrobe since I'd planned for 70 degree weather! It might have been 70, but the wind made it seem much much colder. Our lips and cheeks are sorely chapped today.

We set up camp under the trees and had hot dogs with the team families between games. We also hung out with Taylor's friend Haleigh and her mom Jody. H. plays for another team and we got to watch her play a bit. The highlight of the day was when the ice cream man made an appearance! Ice cream is always a welcome treat even when it's cold!

Taylor got a nice metal- her team was first in their division! Another great family day for the books.
