Homecoming

Making the Welcome Home sign.

Waiting.... waiting.... and watching Signing Time. :)

She's home!!!! Chandler was so excited he couldn't stop talking for about an hour. :) Brayden just wanted out of the picture. The finished sign is in the background. Taylor was so happy... she had Lola sleep in her bed because she missed her so much. :)

The kids really enjoyed the welcome home cake! Taylor loved that we had a party for her. She said she had thought we would. :) She was right! Posted by Picasa

Just like Daddy Pt. 2 :)

All I can say about this pic is.... Awwwwhhhhh! :) Posted by Picasa

Exercise fun!

Jessica and I met to workout together at the park on Thursday. Since we had all the kids, we ended up taking turns running and watching kids. :) The kids had a grand time in the water.... they stayed cool!! Jess and I on the other hand were overwhelmed with the Texas heat. We got a good workout though! :) Afterwards, we joined the kids in the water. :)

A day at the lake

Wednesday, Dana and I spent the afternoon at the lake with the kids. We had a great time. We had a picnic lunch, swam, walked, and played at the playground until about 4:30. Then we went to Tom's parents house to visit his mom who's in town for a few days. Tom came over and we ended up staying until about 11:30! Both boys had passed out by that time, and I was very close as we drove home! :) It was a fun and exhausting day... somehow when you're a mom, those words inevitably always go together!! :)

Micah, Annabelle and Dana. Micah was finally in the water! Yay! ;) Posted by Picasa

Time out for some trail mix. Yum! Posted by Picasa

Wheeeeee! Posted by Picasa

This picture is perfect. It looks like they're really seesawing all by themselves. What you can't see is my hand on Brayden's end putting enough pressure on it to ensure that Chandler won't outweigh him and send Brayden catapulting into the air. :) Posted by Picasa

No fear!!! Posted by Picasa

My little climber. This park was so cool, with rock walls, lots of twisty slides and other neat features. The boys loved it. Posted by Picasa

The day after

I put sunscreen all over the boys faces, but I was careful not to get it in their eyes... they ended up looking like little racoons with sunburned rings around their eyes. lol Posted by Picasa

Taylor's Home!!

Just a quick note to say that Taylor's home, safe and sound. Thanks to everyone who was prayong for her. For those who might not know, Taylor has been gone the past two weeks in California with Nikki to visit her family there. It was really hard for me to let her go for so long. I'd get too emotional if I thought about it too much, so that's why I never posted about it. You may have noticed she hasn't been in the pictures the past few weeks.... that's why. :)

So, now my girl is back with us at home and we're soooo happy! We made a welcome home sign and had a cake for her... I'll post pics tomorrow... (I REALLY promise, Pam!!) ;)

Family Night!

To wrap up VBS we had a family night with a bouncy thing, hotdogs, snowcones and then the kids did a special prefomance of songs and verses that they'd learn during the week. We didn't stay for the whol thing, but if seemed really fun. We'd been running all day so I was ready to just get home and rest.

Jessica and her girls were planning to go swimming with Chandler and me, but it started raining, so we took them to see Cars instead. They loved it, but I was fight sleep the whole time. :) To me it was much slower than the other Pixar films. I'm as bad as a kid... keep it fast and the jokes coming! :)
